Angelique L. Barrow | LCSW, EMDR, IFS Level 1
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
As a therapist, my heart is deeply rooted in supporting those navigating trauma and life’s many challenges. I believe healing happens in a space where you feel truly heard, seen, and safe. Every person’s journey is unique, and it’s a privilege to be part of your healing process as you reconnect with yourself and move toward the life you deserve.
My approach is holistic honoring all of you as I draw from EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to gently support you in exploring the parts of yourself that have carried pain or been left in the background. These powerful approaches create space for deep healing by creating connection, compassion, and understanding within yourself.
I lead with empathy, curiosity, and care and fully respect your story, your needs, and the rhythm that feels right for you. Together, we will create a space where every part of you is welcomed — and where meaningful, lasting change feels possible and truly within reach.
Experience
I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge, and went on to receive my Master of Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. I’m a LCSW Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the Louisiana Board of Social Work Examiners, and I’m trained in EMDR and Level 1 trained in IFS. I have a particular passion for supporting individuals struggling with trauma, relational problems, and transitions in life — whether you are just beginning or continuing the work you’ve already started, I’m truly grateful to be a part of your process.
